CHRIS Korda, the gender-bending son of Simon & Schuster editor-in-chief Michael Korda, believes that cross-dressing is a boon to spirituality. The self-styled minister of the Church of Euthanasia, interviewed in this week's New York Press, says, "Balancing the male and female aspects of the personality is essential to the process of receiving spiritual wisdom." The 33-year-old claims he/she was visited by an alien of higher intelligence dubbed "The Being" in 1992, shortly after retiring as a female impersonator and deciding against transsexual surgery.
